Day Before the Wedding: Bridesmaids Brunch & Afternoon With the Girls

Ready for a ton of pictures?!? These wedding posts will be FULL! and LONG! But so full of wonderful memories!

Granny and Grandmama hosted a lovely “Ladies Brunch in honor of my Bridesmaids” the morning of the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner. My bridesmaids and some other very special ladies joined my mom, my grandmothers and myself for a lovely “grown up tea.”

Brunch was held at Teapots & Treasures, a lovely local tea room & consignment shop. Every part of the tea room is for sale – tables, chairs, tea sets, etc. All items are either antique or have that southern charm.  They make the best chicken salad and creamy tomato soup IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Since I used to have tea parties with friends when I was younger, it seemed like the perfect place for my bridesmaids brunch.

Everyone was given a choice a couple of different hot and cold teas, then we were all served tomato soup. After soup, trays of tea sandwiches were brought to the tables – chicken salad, egg salad, tuna & cheese, ham & cheese, cucumber salad. Dessert was my daddy’s pound cake with cool whip and strawberries. Yummmmm!

Thanks Danielle, for taking these photos! Disregard the size difference – I had issues uploading.

I should NOT have worn my crazy-layered hair down. Oh well.

My godmother, Aunt Becky, made jewelry cases for all my bridesmaids. Or hats…..

After the brunch, we went back to the hotel to change and head out for mani/pedis and a trip to the beach!

I LOVE THESE!
