So, I had this post ready yesterday. I was excited about a two-in-a-row stint. Alas, WordPress was actin’ a fool. Hey, at least it wasn’t two weeks later….
A few weekends ago, I had a shower in Jacksonville on Saturday night. We drove home Sunday morning to make it back in time to unload and head to another shower. Given by two wonderful women that are a part of our incredible church family, it was another ladies’ shower full of good ‘ol fun. And really good food.
Our dear friend Nan was able to join us from Marco Island for the ENTIRE weekend! It was so special.
Dude, the grape punch was awesome.
Arlinda started off by “telling a story.”
The power went out. It was dark outside.
I wasn’t dressed for the bridal shower. I had 10 minutes to get ready. And only a suitcase of clothing.
It turns out I’m quite stylish, don’t ya think!? Turns out Raggedy Anne showed up for the shower.
Two wonderful local friends – Heather & Annie.
Again with the faces. No shame.
Semi-Normal. And a beautiful Christmas plate (Thanks, Granny!)
And–there we go. A looking-at-the-camera-and-not-an-awkward-moment-smile.
Wonderful food, Wonderful friends, and a WONDERFUL view. I didn’t grab a picture of it, but the sunset was GORGEOUS.
Thanks, Annie, for taking all the pictures!
Beyond grateful,
Sara
