Tale as old as time…

The magic of Disney.

Flower & Garden Festival.
DSC_2307 The monorail: The source of great knowledge-aka-the only phrase I can say in near perfect Spanish.
Translated to English it means “Please stand clear of the doors.”
Yes. I learned that on the monorail. No, I’ve never forgotten it.
The source of great knowledge, I tell you.

Disney characters. Out of flowers. No detail forgotten.

An incredible woman I met in college. We will be friends forever. Maybe we’ll live near each other one day and spend many afternoons in our rocking chairs sippin’ on some sweet tea and eating biscuits. If not in person, than on iChat. haha.
See, we’re both simple people. Simple people who love the details.
She’ll always open my fridge without asking, as I will hers. We’ll organize parties at each other’s houses for kids bdays. Or for no reason at all. We’ll send each other cards for no reason [although she is MUCH better at that an I am]. We’ll celebrate every moment we can. It will all be simple. The details will matter. Because the details will be what matters.
And we’ll always go to Target. Always. It is necessary.

The love of my life. The one who knows me better than I will ever know myself–and still loves me. The one who holds my hand, puts up with me when I’m being ridiculous, and stays up late just to watch my favorite show–and then drive me home. The man who respects me, encourages me, wants me to follow my dreams, and provides constant support (even when I’m a pain in the butt). He also can grill a mean steak, which helps. He also answers all my questions. I ask a LOT of questions. Just ask him.

“…I took the [road] less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”

I love a good B&W.

Purple flowers. Because life wouldn’t be the same without purple flowers.

Talented children doing really weird things. It’s Disney.

And dessert in France. This flower was in France. Creme Brulee, Creme Puffs, and Chocolate Eclairs were also in France.
Oh. My. Gosh.
Dessert in Disney France. Necessary.

An incredible weekend. With two of my favorite people.
Makes the dullest Monday awesome.
