Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day of the year.
He is rich who owns the day,
and no one owns the day
who allows it to filled with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt, crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can,
tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely,
with too high a spririt to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
with its hope and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

In the midst of buineess and craziness and fun and excitment and laughter and stupidity, God finds ways to bring smiles. Â Sometimes you have to look for them, though. They’re not always too obvious, but they’re usually right in front of your (my) face.
Thank you, God, for the peace you bring, for the joy you live in, and for the wonderful wonderful gift of today. and yesterday. and tomorrow. and for that holiday we get Monday (no work, high five!).
A program I downloaded called Journalr, and I found the documents, but they are empty. After reading your post, though, I’ve realized it doesn’t really matter.
I’ll keep an eye out for those smiles today.
